About Fuglesang Haveparadis
About the Display Garden
With approximately 12,000 m2 is Fuglesang Bornholm's largest display garden. The garden is divided into seven garden rooms of different sizes and each with its own theme. The first thing you see is a 63-meter-long pergola, which leads up to the Roman-inspired circular herbaceous borders with the goddess in the center and three big ask in the primary colors (red, yellow and blue). Each bed is surrounded by hedges, as with their increasing high illustrate an amphitheater.
In the red garden, Chinese temple lions guards the stairs up to the pavilion, which offers views over the Baltic Sea. Moving around / behind the embankment you will also find children's children rose and crab apple grove. The yellow English-inspired garden is dominated by large rose beds and many bulbs, and the blue garden consists of a mini "rhododendron forest". The Japanese garden and the edible forest garden is expected to be completed during 2016.
A packed picnic basket can be enjoyed on the terrace or at one of the many seats that are around in the garden, while you enjoy the sight of the peacocks that roam freely in the garden (more of them are white).
About the Garden Center
Fuglesang Haveparadis started as a display garden, and as a natural part of development, we opened a Garden Center, where we always try to have a little for everyone (also for those who want something out of the ordinary ). If you are interested in purchasing one of the old Bornholm apple varieties, it is at Fuglesang they are produced - partnered with the Agricultural Museum at Melstedgård, where the parent trees are.
About Fuglesangs Café and exhibition
